Bill,
While I agree with you in general about the Christmas songs, I still have one that sticks with me: "Jingle Bell Rock" I think the singer is Tommy Helms--It's not about the true Christmas, but just gives my soul a lift when I hear it. Christmas seems to be a time when anyone who ever was a "celebrity" has free reign to cash in--let it all STOP!

All fitness boot camps must have a health assessment carried out on all possible candidates, before beginning any bodily training. This is for the safety of your candidate because the extremely obese and those suffering from well being troubles like diabetes, blood pressure, heart issues and joint pains may well find it difficult and dangerous to carry out health education inside a boot camp.

It is possible to rent links from other websites, but be careful: Google is starting to clamp down on individuals caught purchasing links. The red flag is frequently raised whenever you rent a link for a period, and then your backlink disappears whenever you stop renting it.

Meals from the Heartland was excellent again this year! This was my second time volunteering, and I brought my family along this year.It was such a neat experience for all of us. Tent City made it even more real, and we're so blessed that Des Moines can help out and make such a difference. Thanks for partnering with Meals from the Heartland!

Thanks, Rob. Actually, consider how many non-profits there are doing great things that impact people's lives in various ways. MftH is doing amazing things, for sure. But they'll be the first to say their partners' and others' work is just as important. Thanks for commenting.

Nicely done. I (literally) can't imagine what it must feel like to be hungry, and then wait for a truck filled with meals and hope to roll into my neighborhood. You'd be hard-pressed to find another pro bono client who is saving more lives in the world.

Amen, Bill!

Having a good client who is patient, understanding and practical, and who is willing to acknowledge the boundaries of their own expertise, makes the project more enjoyable (and most times more successful) for both parties. If you get the sense in introductory meetings that a client has unrealistic expectations or will inevitably wield an unnecessary hammer of authority, it might be beneficial to recommend that client to another agency.

Hey Derek!

Although I believe you to be guilty of ...well... EVERYTHING, you have made a good point. Say something publicly or else that public will create their own perceptions -- NOT good in most situations.

Thanks for commenting! Talk soon...
