The frog is an icon for everything we hold dear.
He has big eyes, which to us symbolizes a never-ending search for knowledge and truth. That’s why frogs excel in marketing research roles.
He has a big heart, which to us means even though he is technically a tail-less amphibian, feelings are feelings. He understands human motivations and is in tune with what drives certain behaviors. Ideal resume for a marketing strategist!
He has big ideas, which to us means ideas that sell. Can you say “award-winning creative director?”

Andrea James Iverson – President

As President of Love Scott, Andrea assists with the everyday leadership and administration of the agency. She is also responsible for identifying and cultivating critical opportunities and relationships to further enhance our clients’ marketing efforts.
Andrea’s background and area of expertise is in the public relations field. Her professional experiences have spanned the PR field to include newspaper reporting, copywriting, employee/media relations, non-profit crisis/risk communications and event planning.
Andrea graduated from the University of Iowa with a dual degree in journalism and English, with an emphasis in public relations. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and a board member of the Central Iowa Chapter. She has provided volunteer public relations assistance to various non-profit organizations such as The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Amanda the Panda, House of Mercy and Meals from the Heartland, where she also serves on the board of directors.
Andrea is married and the mother of 2 and step-mother of 3 (yes, that makes 5) who takes pleasure in, and just might need, a glass of good wine on occasion. She is also an avid reader who enjoys learning about all things health-related, especially if it has to do with chocolate, which she considers one of the main food groups.

Bill Love – Co-Founder
Bill wears several hats at Love Scott. His primary responsibilities center around new business, marketing strategy and the overall administration of the business of the agency.
Bill holds two degrees from Drake University – a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts. While in graduate school at Drake, he began his own advertising agency which, in 1973, was merged to form Love Scott & Associates.
Bill is a past president of the Advertising Club of Des Moines and the Iowa Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He has also served on the boards of directors of the Greater Des Moines Better Business Bureau and the Central Center YMCA.
He has been named “Producer of the Year” by Central Iowans in Radio and Television.
Bill is a family man whose fondest memories are of time spent with his children and, now, his grandchildren. When he’s not bossing others around at the office, he enjoys painting, reading and giving back to others through various mission work in which he is involved.

Adam Jensen – Creative Director
As Creative Director, Adam has the ultimate responsibility for the entire creative process, including conceptualization, production supervision and quality control of the creative product.
During his ten years with Love Scott, Adam has worked in every aspect of the creative department, starting as a graphic designer. As art director, Adam managed the production and coordination of the art department. As our current creative director, he oversees the production of electronic media, interactive design and the art department as a whole.
Adam is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design. He is a member of the Art Directors Association of Iowa and the American Advertising Federation. He has volunteered creative assistance to the Arthritis Foundation of Iowa, Meals from the Heartland, and House of Mercy.
Adam is a Chicago Cubs and Bears fanatic who secretly wishes he could star in “The Office.” He’s also a fan of anything having to do with sports, design and food (best if simultaneous).

Antoinette Bernich – PR Strategist
With a decade of professional experience, Antoinette has spent more than three-quarters of her career on the agency side, finding solutions for clients using social media, internal/employee communications, media relations, and other strategies tailored to fit each client’s needs. She believes that every client has a unique story to communicate and works to find the best way to help them tell it.
A graduate of Southern Illinois University, Antoinette holds a degree in speech communication with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in mass communications/journalism. She is a Past President of the Public Relations Society of America’s Iowa Chapter, and currently sits on committees for the International Association of Business Communicators Iowa Chapter and the Young Women’s Resource Center and is a new member of the Junior League of Des Moines.
A St. Louis native, Antoinette moved to Iowa in 2002. She loves spending her time creating – you name the craft, she can teach you how to do it! When she’s not at home making a quilt, knitting a scarf, cooking, baking or canning green beans and tomatoes, you can find her spending time with her two favorite people in the world – her nieces.

Brianna Dawson – Graphic Designer
Brianna Dawson is the newest team member at Love Scott & Associates. She recently graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design, and now utilizes her skills in the creative department at LSA. One of her most treasured experiences during college took place during her last year at ISU, where she studied abroad for a semester in Rome, Italy. She’d like to think the experience gave her an interesting world view, and even a new perspective on art and design (not to mention a great understanding of pizza and gelato).
When she’s not adjusting the space between letters, creating logos or designing layouts, Brianna enjoys time spent with her family and friends, cookies, traveling, baby watching, the outdoors and leading a creative lifestyle in and outside of work.
