He has big eyes, which to us symbolizes a never-ending search for knowledge and truth. That’s why frogs excel in marketing research roles.
He has a big heart, which to us means even though he is technically a tail-less amphibian, feelings are feelings. He understands human motivations and is in tune with what drives certain behaviors. Ideal resume for a marketing strategist!
He has big ideas, which to us means ideas that sell. Can you say “award-winning creative director?”

Andrea James – President and Public Relations Director

As President of Love Scott, Andrea assists with the everyday administration of the agency. As the Public Relations Director, she is responsible for identifying and cultivating critical opportunities and relationships to further enhance our clients’ marketing efforts.
For well over 10 years, Andrea’s professional experiences have spanned the PR field to include newspaper reporting, copywriting, employee/media relations, crisis/risk communications and event planning.
Andrea graduated from the University of Iowa with a dual degree in journalism and English, with an emphasis in public relations. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and a board member of the Central Iowa Chapter. She has provided volunteer public relations assistance to various non-profit organizations such as The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Amanda the Panda, House of Mercy and Meals from the Heartland, where she also serves on the board of directors.
Andrea is a mother of 2 who takes pleasure in (and just might need) a glass of good wine on occasion. She is also an avid reader who enjoys learning about all things health-related, especially if it has to do with chocolate, which she considers one of the main food groups.

Bill Love – Co-Founder
Bill wears several hats at Love Scott. His primary responsibilities center around new business, marketing strategy and the overall administration of the business of the agency.
Bill holds two degrees from Drake University – a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts. While in graduate school at Drake, he began his own advertising agency which, in 1973, was merged to form Love Scott & Associates.
Bill is a past president of the Advertising Club of Des Moines and the Iowa Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He has also served on the boards of directors of the Greater Des Moines Better Business Bureau and the Central Center YMCA.
He has been named “Producer of the Year” by Central Iowans in Radio and Television.
Bill is a family man whose fondest memories are of time spent with his children and, now, his grandchildren. When he’s not bossing others around at the office, he enjoys painting, reading and giving back to others through various mission work in which he is involved.

Adam Jensen – Vice President and Creative Director
As Vice President and Creative Director, Adam is involved in the day-to-day management of the agency and also has the ultimate responsibility for the entire creative process, including conceptualization, production supervision and quality control of the creative product.
During his nine years with Love Scott, Adam has worked in every aspect of the creative department, starting as a graphic designer. As art director, Adam managed the production and coordination of the art department. As our current creative director, he oversees the production of electronic media, interactive design and the art department as a whole.
Adam is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design. He is a member of the Art Directors Association of Iowa and the American Advertising Federation. He has volunteered creative assistance to the Arthritis Foundation of Iowa, Meals from the Heartland, and House of Mercy.
Adam is a Chicago Cubs and Bears fanatic who secretly wishes he could star in “The Office.” He’s also a fan of anything having to do with sports, design and food (best if simultaneous).

Andrew B. Clark – Interactive Director
As Interactive Director at Love Scott, Andrew develops and manages integrated marketing communications environments. With more than 15 years experience in interactive and print graphic services, social media strategy design and development, his work has shown to be results-driven successes for our partners and clients.
Andrew studied fine art, photography, and illustration at Coe College, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and The Museum School of Fine Art in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned an associates degree in Commercial Art from Des Moines Area Community College. He is a member of the Art Directors Association of Iowa and the American Advertising Federation. Andrew also owned his own graphic communications studio for 3 years prior to joining Love Scott in 2007.
While not spending time with his wife and three children, Andrew is a social media junkie who has a great appreciation for food, especially if it includes the words “tasty” or “tacos.” You will always know where to find him via Twitter update or Foursquare check-in.
